How it Works

To gain access to Inspirato's portfolio of homes and services, members pay an initiation fee, introductory priced at $15,000. This gives the member a 10 year membership; from there they would have the option to renew every year at a fee of $2,950. The member pays the market-based nightly rates for each reservation they make. The average cost per night for all the homes in Inspirato's portfolio is approximately $850, with some value season rates as low as a few hundred dollars. Members pay only for the nights they use, and there is no limit to how often a member can travel and no blackout dates. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance, and all members are treated equally. There are no levels of membership or complicated reservation rules to master.

To research and book their reservations, members simply log in to Inspirato.com, search the calendar – which displays availability for the year to date and the nightly rate – and make their selections. Pricing for each property is dynamic and market-based, influenced by factors such as how far in advance reservations are made, travel dates and length of stay. Unlike many other clubs, Inspirato members can easily make reservations during high-demand travel periods. The demand for homes during holidays and other peak times will be equitably balanced by nightly rates, which will be higher during these time frames. In addition, Inspirato's flexible leasing model allows it to add specific properties to satisfy excess demand during peak periods.

Italian for "inspired", Inspirato was created by experienced company builders who are passionate about luxury vacations. Founder and CEO Brent Handler co-founded and was the former president of Exclusive Resorts, the world's largest and most successful destination club that acquired $1 billion in real estate assets and delivered more than 100,000 vacations during his tenure. Brian Corbett, founder and chief experience officer, was Exclusive Resorts' former vice president of product development and strategy, having created the company's highly successful "Once in a Lifetime" experiential travel program.
